About Me

Charlie with his dog

Hi, I'm Charlie!👋

I'm a full stack developer living in San Diego, California. I love creating efficient, robust, and visually appealing web solutions to the variety of challenges clients face in bringing an idea from conception to a marketable product to their customers. I always approach projects with a fresh perspective and constantly challenge myself to think outside the box to deliver a product that not just meets but exceeds the requirements set out in the product definition. It is my firm belief that the determining factor in the success of a product is not the product itself, but the passion behind it. And let me tell you, I'm chalk full of passion.

I've been programming for most of my life in one way or another. It all started when I was a distracted high schooler and I discovered I could miraculously jailbreak my TI-84 calculator in order to play Doom instead of paying attention in class. This led to a love for finding ingenious ways to utilize technology to create solutions to the variety of obstaces we face on a daily basis. After a few years devoted to writing and performing music, I went back to school and received a degree in computer science. Since then, I’ve devoted my days to working with computers, always exploring the best path from challenge to solution.

If I'm not at my computer you can likely find me climbing a rock wall or trying to teach myself how to play a new instrument.
